[The bus gets there soon enough, and they spend the entire ride sharing Ash's earbuds to watch stupid videos on YouTube.

Cheddar's isn't too busy, so there's no wait and they get seated by the window within moments of getting there. Once their drink orders are taken, Ash starts looking at the menu.]

Pick a dessert, too.

[He hums thoughtfully as he starts looking at the menu. He has a pretty decent idea of what he wants already since he looked online before at least... Well, except for the desserts.]

They all sound good, it's almost difficult to pick...

Then that's what we're gettin'.

[He flags the server down so they can place their order...and they basically just have a really good lunch. They gossip and bitch about school and some of the people they know, Ash shows Pat one or two cursed things from Twitter, and then they get the cheesecake and pay. Soon they're heading out of the restaurant and into the mall.]

So where're we heading first?

[Lunch is fun and the food is great, and before Pat knows it, they're at the mall.]

I'm still not sure, to tell you the truth... I guess we could look around some of the clothing stores until we figure out something better to do?

[... Considering Pat's usual clothing styles are "vaguely preppy" and "I don't wish to be perceived," clothes shopping sure couldn't hurt.]

Ash just smirks wider and heads for one of the stores he knows caters to his sort of style.]

[Onward, then! Pat grins a little as he follows.]

[They get to the store and Ash makes a beeline for some of the "not quite him" racks, since he's pretty sure Pat doesn't want to look like him.]

Find jeans in your size...and here, try these on.

[One's a tank top, just to see if it looks good on him, and ones a slightly over-sized Metallica t-shirt, again just to see if it looks good on him. They can go from there.]

[Grabbing a pair of jeans in his size, then! Black skinny jeans that are ripped at the knees.

He hums and nods, taking the two shirts that Ash picked out, then scoots off to go try those on.

(And while he's heading to the dressing room, he grabs a studded belt on a whim.)

So... he steps out in the tank top first, looking a little sheepish.]
